And also just a question, what mix of "Calling Your Name" was played in American Pie when Jim is stripping? Is it the original? :conf: |

| I'm pretty sure it was the original Trancey Ash. William Orbit - Barbers adagio for strings was also used as the theme for the 2000 State of Origin series, that truly sent tingles down my spine ! |

damn, that was going to be my contribution =p. its also the back drop for the competitions they have when picking up the lines from callers.
trance becoming more commercialised? *shrug* you know, it will inevitably happen. it has a more commercial sound than the other electronica genres, espesh with all the euro trash n remixes that's been hitting the charts, its given the mainstream an introduction. but if that's the case, i think the most significant thing you should remember n constantly remind yourself is why you began listening to it in the first place. for the "love of the music". nobody can take that away, and because of that, it'll always be different to you than to anybody else!

i remember listening to fox at work in the mornings and hearing this, thinking ' that is such a good song! i need to know what it is!' then one day browsing the forums i see people going on about old tunes and carte blanche was one of them and i thought "maybe i should download some of these older ones, everyone raves about them". so i did, and when i listened to it went "omg! thats it!!! w00000t!!!" :D |
