Alright, heres the situation, I'm at college living in the dorms with an extreme limited amount of space. I bought a pair of turntables and a mixer before I went to college and now I'm going through withdraw. In the room I have just enough space for my setup. Although, I also have a computer here at college that I spent a lot of money on. Now the question is, should I dump the computer n use my desk space for my setup? or keep the computer so I can post threads like this n talk with you fine people? Or an alternative to both, have some crazy ass setup where I have some kinda terrace setup or something. Any others in college dorms? If so do you have your tables there n whatnot? kthx in advance.

I say toss your bed out the window. You get the best of both worlds. Got the puter and the turntables. So you have to sleep on the floor. You'll learn to deal with it.

wish i could afford some Decks , just sleep in some nice girls dorm for a few months :)

sleep on floor.

That would be an option but unfortunately its a bunk bed, so by throwing my bed out I also throw my roomates bed out, which doesn't make for a pleasent situation.

Keep the pc... keep te bed..

Make a small table TOP just enough for the tables and mixer.. and make it hang from the roof from steel cables at each corner of the table top... neat.. and imagine the floor space you will save cause it will be hanging!!!

Just a thought...

Get rid of the computer man, and put your equipment on there. You could always use other people's computers.

lol, last year the tables took up most of my desk, but I had room for a monitor. I used cinder blocks to hold up my keyboard and mouse.

This year, I took advantage of a most wonderful invention: milk crates. My tables are now supported by milk crates, which double as a book shelf:

oh, putting the tables in "battle" position also saves room, but I like my pitch control close.
