This is really pissing me off. I procrastinate so much that i have 2 late essays, and 3 late projects. Im in college and this is inacceptable. How can i prevent this? Something always comes up, either computer, listening to Trance, or something else. I hate myself for that. |
Just allow yourself to procrastinate. It will force you to be more time efficient, hence gaining you additional hours to spend doing whatever you want. It works fine as long as you actually do get things done when the hour of need arrives. If you're not capable of that, then you have no self-control whatsoever.
Perhaps you need to experience failure before you can sufficiently appreciate the need for work... |

| once again i have to go with my answer to everything...pick up a coke habit. coke is a great motivator. it gives you th eenergy to get your work done and youll find that u have so much more time to do these things now that u cut out eating and sleeping. |

Thats exactly what I say, I put off untill the end, but I always start it early enough where I have time to finish, I put off to the end, but eventually I get everything done before it's due. |

| Here's one thing I wish: you didn't need 8 hours of sleep every day to feel great and function nicely!!! 8 hours is a long time to sleep when you have essays and stuff to do. Every time I get, like 3-4 hours, I don't function well at all and what originally was to be a day full of getting work like this done, is now a day of me being tired all day and yawning while walking down the street. Is there any way to get your body and mind used to staying up for 36+ hours and then sleeping for under 6, as well as performing normally? If so, are there any long-term effects from doing this? If so, what are they? I'm going to need it when I'm in college/university because I need LOTS of time to get those assignments done. |
