Which remixes do you reckon have been overlooked in favour of others???
I reckon:-
DJ Sakin - Protect your mind (Ayla remix)<--------- I still love the Lange mix but this is good too.
Ayla - Ayla (DJ Tandu remix)<--------- A great remix alongside the Taucher mix that everyone plays.
Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (Universal State of mind remix)<------ This was only on the original 1997 release, it re-makes the main riff using a piano sample..... excellent.
Lustral - Everytime (Katcha's last time remix) <------- More melodic than the still excellent Nalin & Kane remix. This remix is so much more emotional.
The Generator - Where are you now? (Original)<---------- Has more punch than the Moonman remix, although I love both.
Grace - Down to earth (Ascension remix)<--------When this came out in 1996/1997 the Dekkard remix was the most played but this remix is also excellent.
Warrior - Warrior (DJ Hooligan remix)<-------- An excellent Tech/breaks version of this classic. I first heard it when Jules opened with it in 2000 at Progress.
Darude - Feel the beat (JS16 Dark mix)<--------- An excellent remix of the terrible original. This one is full of bass.
Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Solar Stones' coastal mix)<--------- A more chilled version. Starts as breaks then becomes 4/4. It has a different bass key change than the Atlantis mix. Would love to drop this as a surprise in a set!
Lange - Follow me (Agnelli & Nelson remix)<-------- More subtle than the original, a nice warm up tune.
Da Hool - Meet her at the love parade (Airwave remix)<-------- Oh Yes!!! Nice work by Mr Veronez.
Joker Jam - Innocence (Planisphere remix)<------- A really nice progressive trance remix. A bit more gentle than the original.
Southside Spinners - Luvstruck (Timo Maas remix)<------ A much overlooked piece of tech house madness! |

I'm pretty sure from what I remember that it was unappreciated. Wicked mix :). |

Delerium - Innocente (Mr. Sam's The Space Between Us Remix)
IMO this one is way better than the Tiësto Remix which was played more.
Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence (Twisted Dee Additive Mix)

Delerium - Innocente (List Witness Remix)
Gave the track exactly what it needed and what Tiesto's mix was lacking in for me.
Tenth Planet - Ghosts (Trouser Enthusiasts Mix)
Very similar in style to the original of "Walk On Water" and beats the hell out of the other mixes for me.
Oxygen - Am I On Your Mind (Original Mix)
Not a remix but it's got that classic Space Brothers sound to it which I know and love. Everybody seems to go for the Lustral Remix, I've never understood why.
Salt Tank - Eugine (Tiesto Remix)
I prefer this version to the Michael Woods Remix. It retains all of the beauty from the Pacific Diva version but relies mainly on the gorgeous guitar melody to make it. Very smooth, sounds a lot like something that Mea Culpa would have produced. |
