Asking A Girl Out On A Date

For all the guy's here on the forums. I was just wondering if this happens alot. When you ask a girl out on a date, do the usually say
"Yeah sure I'd love to go out with you, I'll give you a call". Then they never call or the next time you see them they give you some excuse as to why they never called.
To make a long story short I meet this girl who works for a friend of mine. She's very beautiful. When I first met her she seemed
interested in me and I found her interesting as well. I started talking to her about "Avalon" a Boston night club I go to. She had
never been and I offered to take her. And then Comes The "yeah I'd
love to go I just need to find a babysitter I'll let you know". I never got a call whether she could go or not.
If they don't want to go out with you WHY DON'T THEY JUST SAY SO.
I just want to know if this has happen to you. |

Whether they have a kid or not. A call to say she
couldn't make it would have been nice.
I know it's hard to get out when you have
a kid but, if you don't try then you'll
never get out and have a life. I not saying
forget that you have a kid but don't say yes
when you don't do want to go. That's what pisses
me off. |

Next time you see her, ask her how she will make it up to you (in an assertive but playful tone).
If she flakes again - ditch her. No need to waste time on such girls. |

ok - to your example with the one with a kid. that is a legit excuse. it has got to be hard to make dates when you already have that kind of responsiblity.
but in general women (and most people) just don't know how to say no. someone else posted a thread on a girl not giving him her number and complained about that. so would you rather get shut down right away or have some glimmer of hope that maybe her excuses are valid. |
