Price of petrol in iraq. omg!!!!!!!!!!!

I just watched a news report on the situation in iraq. they were talking about petrol prices there. The reporter filled up one of these massive american styled jeeps with 160 litres of petrol.
Cost - £2
They reckon petrol is cheaper than water. :eyes: |

| In most arab countries petrol is cheaper than water. It's logical, though, they only have huge deserts with lots of petrol but almost no water at all. |

| I read a report where the 2nd objective of the US is to destabilize severly OPEC. This will happen, because iraqi full blown production can be brought to 7MB/Day:eek: :eek: (Million Baril) which will flood the market with fuel thus lowering the prices. This move will make the OPEC obsolete because they'll have to lower their prices so they don't loose too much ground to iraqi fuel. They won't be able to control the prices like they do now! |

i was curious what petrol prices are around the world...
Here in Melbourne, Australia we're currently paying about $1 a litre, which is about US$1.70.
Myself, i'm in pissed off by these prices as i used to pay 70cents, or so, not too long ago. |

none, the arctic ice cap will have no effect on sea levels, it's part of the ocean... it's mountain glaciers, Greenland, & Antartica that you have to worry about more.
One time the entire North Pole had melted, scientists had boated right up to it. First time in recorded history too, with little effect on sea levels. |
