Well I live in Seattle, WA and am getting a group of friends (Guys & Girls) together to do a little trip to Europe. Probably 2-4 weeks. We are thinking mid-late summer, but doesn't have to be then exactly.
Of course Ibiza is high one everyone's list but we were wondering what some good places to visit would be, what time of the year to go, how to book travel, and anything else you can think of.
Countries we would like to visit most:
Spain
Italy
UK
Germany
But want to see as much as possible!
Thanks ! |

If you're going for 4 weeks, you should plan to do one big party in each country. start your trip in Germany for the Love PArade (13-15th June) go to the UK for Gatecrasher Sound System, and Gods Kitchen Global Gathering, And do whatever until DAncevalley in Holland on (I think) 12th-13th July!
Go to a regional forum and ask for ideas etc

first of all, do you guys know any other languages besides english>? if not, that might prove to be quite the problem, but anyways, in this exact order is what i would advise you to do it:
1.) spain
2.) holland
3.) germany
i dont care for france or italy to much, but spain is ridiculously awesome, and holland & germany also.
actually, dj_mdma had a good point, loveparade first, then move on to spain or holland, or both, but to me i think spain is the best... alot friendlier than most europian countries, and pretty crazy night life also, but thats if you know how to get around and speak the language. |

My wife is fluent in Spanish (Latin American Spanish) so she can get us though Spain just fine and Italy has enough simalarities that we could be ok there. Germany would be interesting but haven't heard problems from friends who traveled there.
Hey dj_mdma, how long does travel inbetween those countries take? Is it best to go by rail?
Thanks! |

| if your going by rail, and your going to be doing alot of travelling by rail, get a eurail pass, but try and get a good price on one, sometimes you can get jipped i suppose, but in my case it worked out really well (but i was there for 2 months)...but you can also check out ryanair (i think thats spelt correctly)... who had a promotion at the time i was there, and they where offering ridiculous prices to fly across europe, like 50 euros to go from germany to england, and what not. anyways, im sure mdma can help you out alot more, paz. |

Travelling thru europe eh?
I would not advise rail as it is relatively expensive and also slower than a plane. If u buy all your air tickets from the UK to other destinations u will save a lot of money
Budget airlines such as Ryanair, Easyjet and Go fly to most of Europe for fantastic prices. A lot of travelling information/websites is available in the UK forum.
The Dutch forum has lots of info on where to stay in Holland, with many suggestions for partying, general nightlife etc.
If you really want to travel by rail, there is the Eurostar train which goes from London Waterloo station to France and also to Belgium.
I'm not sure for dates of festivals here, but you can be sure that GCSSS will be in the last week in June, which is definately unmissable. If u come to the UK the UKTA's will also give u a nice welcome.
Staying in London IS expensive, unless u opt for staying in a hostel. London is generally expensive overall, but us lot have got used to it ;)
How much are u planning to spend etc, and i can help u more!
:)
Last year I went to Germany, Holland, SPain and also did GKGG as well! I didn't spend that much, but i'm sure travelling costs shouldn't add to much onto your spending. |

LOL dude you have all the dates wrong. The Love Parade is held the second weekend of July and Dancevalley is in August.
Anyways, there's also Sensation White on July 5 and Sensation Black on July 12.
Definitely come to Holland, this is the most incredible country ever. And you don't need to know another language since everyone speaks English. |
