Since everybody is asking me why Linux is better , well let me give my reasons :
1-Linux is free
2-Linux is stable (Windows Blue Screen of Death)
3-Linux is faster
4-Linux is easy when u get used to it
5-Linux's apperance is bettter
6-Linux is more secure than all the windows boxes (just look at the defacement scene)
7-Linux is multi-user
8-Linux is easier to install
9-Linux is user friendly
10-I'm not giving Bill Gates money anymore |

i tried to install linux mandrake 7.0 on my computer about 6 months ago, but its a compaq, and it gave me all kind of trouble and at the end i coulnt use it
linux rocks!
btw..the problem wasn't linux, was the computer, also tried to install windows me and gave me a lot of problems. seems it only accepts windows 98.. |

i start really hating Win98 SE!!
i just got a hint that Win98 cant run 40GB Harddrives!!

ahhh win98 just doesn't has the compatability of when it comes to the bigger things, hardware-wise. like win95 couldn't handle 15+gigs on my cousin's comp.
anyway, linux is a good OS. stable and efficient! lotsa security flaws though. dunno about mandrake 8 and how it handles . |

hehe ok.. Win NT and Linux
but every OS has loads of exploits
just turning ur comp on and loggin into on the net is enuf of an exploit =p |
