Im trying to use automation in my mixer and effects outputs in reason.. i try right clicking on the knobs and i dont have the option available (its in grey)

i know ive done it before in my previous production but now it seems like its not working.. any ideas.. do i need to have something else clicked to allow automation on the mixer ?

any help would be appreciated

thanks

I don't have reason on my computer at the moment but if I'm not wrong.... you need to first position the left and right markers on where you want the automation to start and end in the sequencer. Then press record and just fiddle with the knobs.

Nope that doesnt work either i dont know why?

hrmm it used to work that sthe thing.. and if i open my previous production i am allowed to fiddle with the auto mation in the mixer.. so its not a program problem at least i hope

any other indicatinos.. maybe i dont have a wire connected in the back?

the record button doesnt even work with my old production lol ive never used the record button before im used to doing my automation with the graphs given when right clicking on a knob and using automation

still in the dark here guys.. any more suggestoins?

Make sure you have created a sequencer track which is connected to the device. If you haven't, right-click on the device (not on a knob!) and select create -> create sequencer track for '....'. Then right-click on the knob on the device you want to automate, and the specific track will appear in the sequencer. Now you can draw lines to automate it.

Hope this will help.
