Watching the Waves [G&M Remix] is a awsome remix. Starting off with a hard sounding
bassline, one element in this track sounds a bit like another Ligaya knock-off. More
layers are added and effects to bring this tune out to its fullest. As the main melody kicks
in, the vocals come in. The vocals are quite nice to anybodys ear, and has a pretty nice
'twinkling' sounding effects. The breakdown is great. As all elements of the tune
are removed but the melody, a nice echo is used. The vocals start again aswell as that
'twinkle' sounding effect. To reach the climax, each layer is added again one by one,
finishing off with the bassline. From here on the tune is fairly simple, continuing
with the vocals which say "Watching the Waves" as the title says, the track introduces
some break like part used as the second climax. They fit in allright IMO. After that
it's pretty much the beginning of the tune repeated only with a bit more 'energy'.

Average remix from G&M IMO. I might pick this up on vinyl (whenever and wherever it
comes out). I havent heard many big name DJ's play this, unless I missed it. Worth
checking out if you're into either Blank and Jones or G&M.

7/10 for Watching the Waves [G&M Remix]

PM me and we'll sort it out :)

Thanks for the review a-aplz ... I've only heard Robert Gitleman (who's behind G&M) play this one months ago (fell in love) and B&J (Who are behind Blank & Jones :p) put it in their top 10 for a while too... Other than that I was surprised to never see it appear in playlists...

this is a great remix!!
I still thing the Moon (aka Airbase) Remix is better though.
I wish they would release that as the b-side to the G & M remix, but looks like that isnt happening :(

Thanks for the reactions for this great tune.

I heard some people talking that it's a fake Remix or a live set rip.
Can any one agree with that? I sounds very good, non fake for me!

luv this tune soo hard, i've had it for awhile now, but it just doesn't stop growing on me. it's sad to see this isn't getting a proper release. 8/10.
