DJ-Ande
greg murray mix

has the better synths and techy sounds in it and is more energetic, giving it a more vibrant feeling. A very nice simple bassline which keeps the tune going and sounding bouncy.

8/10

midway remix

rahter simple and isn't half as good as the greg murray remix. it adds a smaller riff and a little echo to the main lead, which sounds ok, but it cud have had more done to it. sounds a little more energetic and uplifting than the original which is nice, but like i have sed more could have been changed.

6/10

much prefer the greg murray remix as it is better made and has been 'remixed' more (if you ya get what i mean).

order in which i like the mix's.........

1. greg murray remix
2. original
3. airbase
4. midway

Nice to see others then just me writing rewiews on tracks, rather then the boring old three word I've got this track posts. :] I try to rewiew tracks when I have time. /me gives Arbiter and DJ-Ande a gold star. :D

I used to review but I eventually stopped since no one cared after the second time. This time I wont review but I'll write a little something on each mix.

I think the Midway Remix could have been much much better. All he did was change the buildup into a Ralphie B style (not even the Midway style), which kind of sounds like his remix of First Second. The trademark Solar Stone guitars are still there, which really bugs me, as its basically the same track but with Midway's name on it. Boo.

The Greg Murray Remix is my pick on the vinyl, although I've never heard of the guy. His remix is more housey and I really love the 'bouncy' bassline. In this case he does use the same Solar Stone guitars, but since he sort of made a housey remix instead of a trancey one like Midway, its fine.

Conclusion: I think Solar Stone could have picked better remixers for the follow up to such a classic track. Maybe we will see a second remix vinyl pack like the 2001 remixes of Seven Cities :p

I've only heard the Original Mix and the Midway remix and both are good. In my opinion the Midway remix is a bit better.

First I listened to the Midway remix, and I must admit that I'm used to much better 'Ralphie B'-productions. It's really good, but it's for sure not his best work to date.

Greg Murray's remix is very powerful and energetic - Therefore my favorite remix of Solarcoaster!

typical for ralph's productions, i guess. the build-up usually rocks, like this one, but the main part is often very boring..

Personally I think the Midway mix is the best. I love Ralphie B productions and this latest work of his is no exception. I wasn't the biggest fan of the original but this remix is turning into of my favorite tracks. I love how Ralphie uses those synths that twist from high to low. That gets me everytime.

better remixers? wtf u think corsten or tiesto would make it better? i dont in think so. they r uncreative, repetitive, boring and suck dick now. therefore getting an unknown name like greg murray is smarter. guys like greg murray have more to offer cuz they aint doing it strictly for the money and making stupid in cheese like corsten or tiesto would. they r putting effort and originality into it. whereas a big name producer corrupted by money would in ruin it ex. corsten, tiesto, armin.

anyway murray mix gets 10/10

I guess I'm gonna be alone in saying I like the Midway Remix better... Greg Murray's bassline in his mix is way too heavy IMO. I think it takes away from the whole feeling of the track. As Ralphie B has taken the main lead to another level. I agree he's done better remixes but this one is very good still!
