hrmm, nice to see so much goodwill and love in this forum, used to be alot nice... but i guess that happens to forums when they get spamed consitently with new users.
hey, what if i were to say "I HATE TRANCE!!, trane should be erased from human memory, and all dj's should have there arms amputated!"
now of course i dont mean this , god knows i dont mean this, but you woudnlt like it if i did. basicaly your doing the same thing to the small fraction of people who actually do listen to other forms of music, so one more time. how a bout a lil r e s p e c t. |

Before i got into Trance/Dance I was into Alternative and metal. And back then i used to think Dance music was crap!! all my friends did too! it's odd huh? I went on to eventually love it so much it's a major part of my life now.
I see intolerance isn't just relegated to the metal heads like i previously thought. It's kinda sad! Yeah i don't really listen to it anymore but abusing it just becuz it's not u?? I'm sorry but that does not cut the mustard with me.
Hell if I was be blowing my horn everytime someone said they really dig a track or something that personally I don't "get" it'd be crazy!! We're all unique individuals and we happen to like unique things! Thats why a Trance Site like this is so cool. Because we all happen to feel the same rythym bursting through our veins. But there's really no need to put down others just because they aren't the same as us!

old industrial metal like Skinny Puppy/Download! this music is demonic. cacophony music is what i call it
industrial gothic is vaguely similar to trance cuz it uses keyboards and synths, but i still don't like it that much. its dark , not every uplifting. plus it doens't have the technical complexity of trance music.
my ears only tuned for trance and certain other forms of music
thank goodness for that. |

Im new to this site, but upon reading this thread, id have to say you just shot yourself in the head coup. I dont want to start off on the wrong track, but if your goint to talk about something, then at least have some knowledge about it before you critize it.
on the quote above you say he blasts on metal, well right there you have just proved to everyone how arrogant and ignorant you are. once again, just like ftnb said Marylin Manson is not METAL, i know what metal is, and obviously you dont, just dont mention it again, if you dont know what your talking about. For all he could have said that marlyn manson should burn in hell, but it dosnt matter because marylin manson is not metal.
so in no way whatsoever has he blasted on any type of metal, enough said, i hope you all take this constructively.

even if ftnb wasnt harassing a metal artist... i dont give a what the hell manson's music is classed. but what we are saying, is how come ftnb calls coup narrow-minded for not liking metal but then shows that he is narrow-minded about manson? |
