Right, iv just been listening to both of this guys forthcomings on tidy trax(tidy.com) and both lead sounds have some serious pitch bending in them. I was wondering whether anybody knows how this effect was achieved, would it best be done with portmento or actually drawing the the 'bends' into the sequencer on the pitch wheel??? Ne ideas?

not sure, but guvver actually uses fruity loops, if you want to ask him yourself, try joining samplecity.net (he has about 700 posts there).
mantisnl
or the tidy.com boards, he`s an admin there;)

Cheers guys, i asked and he says he used vaz to make em and a lot of portmento, iv had a go and can get the patch quite close but im with melodys, oh well.:D

did you guys know that alot of the "big" ppl on tidy uses fruity?
guyver (aka. Riot Brothers), Lee Haslam, Fallout Boy and Miss Behavinī are just some of them

Yeah, i did actually, u can see why, if ur just using software it seems to be the best option. Id use it if i hadnt spent the last 2 years using reason. At the end of the day tho its just a matter of taste, stimulant djs on tidy use reason and paul maddox uses cubase. Floops is definatley becoming a very popular option tho, a lot more popular than reason in any case. If only reason had vst support.

Doesn't Reason have DX support? Because I know there are VST->DX adapters out there.

Reason does have vst and dx support. Just rewire using cubase. It's mad easy.
