PvD warmup : Edgar V @ Factory Columbus Review

Edgar V at the Factory, Columbus, Saturday 8th
hehe I was there last night for the show and the place is nice, well laid out, and to say the least they did the best job you could do with a warehouse building.
Lights are ok, not impressive, but I did like the laser .... odd enough for me to say so seeing I'm usually not a big fan of lasers :p
And the sound while not being the best around, is still top quality ... and not over kill !
( btw in the club there's : the main room, the hip hop room and the dnb room ( not sure what the side rooms do on other days but that's what was being played in there during that night )
ok now to the show :
warm up dj was hillarious , spinning bunch of housey, proggish stuff ..... ON HIS LAPTOP :haha: Mixmeister pro rocks - NOT - and it was funny hearing edgar V telling me "I don't trust computers" "I don't trust computers" and boum trainwrecks skips and crashes lol
Before the man came on the promoter made the official annoucement that paul van dyk was being transfered to tuesday night.
Edgar V really brought a vibe to the place, pumping it hard for a good but sadly enough short set - place has to close at 3 and he got on around 12 30. Edgar has more recognition at the local level then I ever would have imagined. Numerous people knew him personnaly and things of the like so that was good :D and yeah some people thought I was Edgar's brother, partner, I was from South Beach or something

I'm not all that great with reviews so you'll excuse me ;)
but no needs to worry the pvd show will be great even if the turn out will be much lower cause of the date change :whip:

i am confused--
no where on music factory's website or paul's website is there any info i see about a date change? very confused...please clarify as i was planning on driving in for this sunday the 16th. i don't want to waste my tickets and definitely don't want to waste my pvd@roxy warmup night. thanks. |

the info fell saturday, no wonder the website isn't updated yet!
and it was even officialy announced @ the Factory last night by the promoter himself. |

my bad,
i didn't pay attention to the date of edgar v's night to realize it was only yesterday. your post popped up in my search results.
! that sucks i think. oh well i will be there anyway. if you see a black twilo hat signed on the visor, thats me...haha. pvd signed it at glow!

it might be me being a zombie with the flu but i don't think anyone here thinks the global tour is cancelled or claims so?!?! just the columbus date is pushed forward by two days. |

the promoter said so ....... :rolleyes: but I don't know if I can trust him for the rest of the tour ......
I know it's actual fact for Columbus ...
new flyers are being printed and everything ! and btw I am working for that show so I better be aware ;)

I take it he will be playing at midnight but try to be there in advance.
