I don't know the details about this guy you were with. I'm sorry that someone you loved didn't feel the same for you. One thing though. I've been on both ends of the stick in this situation, and often times when i was the one who had to dump the other, I felt terrible, because I knew how much they cared for me. In my situation, it wasn't that I didn't love them, it's just, over time, things weren't working out, and I lost interest. I would tell them about this, and they'd get all upset, and we'd try to fix it, but after a couple weeks it was still sucky and I broke it off. Then they turn around and call me a liar for saying that I loved them, when in fact at a time I did, but over time my feelings for them changed. On the other hand, he may have been using you the whole time without ever feeling for you at all. Most likely tho, if the relationship lasted longer than a couple months, this was not the case because putting a up a front that long is very difficult unless large amounts of money are involved, or something of that nature.
Word of advice: Don't start bitching at them or their friends about what they did to you weeks or months after the fact. It will only make you look angry and jealous and pathetic, no matter how justified it may be. The truth is, if they don't love you, they aren't worth your love, plain and simple. Also, as prototrance said, no one is worth killing yourself over, your feelings of pain will recede, and you will find someone who is deserving of you. |

how the hell do you "loose interest" when it comes to something so serious? |

losing intrest means that u werent in love i think..u an try to convince urself that u loved her but actions speak louder than words...if u love a person i would think u would to see them and be around them 24/7 and in no way lose intrest..so u probably dated her just for the hell of it...people read into things too much these days..if u give a girl a complement then u r hitting on her..just remember this its what i do that counts and not what i say..ation talks and bull walks ;) |

its called "boring of someone" miss_e, and it happens. No sense in continuing if you are bored with that person. The only thing that sucks is when one person is bored and the other isnt :X |

if people didnt lose interest there would be no such thing as cheating or divorce. i lost interest in my last girlfriend..she was to easy going...always wanted to do what i wanted..its like she didnt have a mind of her own...she was not like that when we first started dating. i know a lot of guys would like that, but i find it annoying.
ive been known to have that effect on women though because i was voted the SEXIEST MAN IN THE UNIVERSE, by Maxim magazine. |

tranceaholic: one should never let words speak out louder than actions themselves. i understand that f00k buddies and flings are fun but i was referring to loosing interest in a person you truly, i dont want to say love, but felt for.
reuven: i guess im too skeptical about trial & error. yes it massively sucks when the other looses interest in you. that is the biggest pile of ive ever heard. i hate that.
kirb: did you actually tell her that you lost interest in her when you guys were breaking it up? yeah i agree i hate people who cant think for themselves. what does it when you and your best mate have never had a single fight for over 4 years?
this is too depressing atm. |

I agree. Totally. I mean, he still wants me to be his friend and thats just very hard to contemplate right now.
We hardly ever fought. we fought/fight more when we're not together. |

he wants to be your friend? of course he does but i don't know if it's going to be worth it. it really depends if you can forgive and forget. though i think once you become his "buddy" it'll be harder to leave him (in the sense that you want to let go of him inside)
how are things going by the way? |

well miss-e i dont think its possible to lose intrest in a girl u cared about just like that..she must have done something or changed..i was with my ex for 2 years and then i went away for the summer and came back to a completely different person..a person that i dont really know...SO losing intrest can happen in two cases
1- the relationship was superficial and wasnt based on anything
2-a change occured int he person u cared about that u dont recognize em any more..thats how u lose intrest |

well if u dont believe in it..you will never find it...dont let one bad relationship let u lose hope...cause once u find it u will forget all about the bad ones...a thing in the past it will become.. |
