Thats how rap is nowadays though, back in 1992-95 it was a lot better...videos consisted more of parties and people having a good time other than now where it's just the rappers flashing their money and gold.

Jeez you're smart. This is for electronic music, and hip hop, believe it or not, is a form of it but just at a slower tempo and somebody rapping over it. Just like trance is electronic music at a faster tempo with somebody (though not always) singing over it.

What...? No Beastie Boys?? Check Your Head, anyone?
Hubcap
I would add:
The Roots - Illadelph halflife
Nadi
Pretty good list, though Nas - Illmatic seems to be a glaring ommision. If the list including earlier stuff you'd need to include some run dmc stuff too. Oh yea, and the form is called Music Discusion, so anything music related should be fair game.

Yea rap is in a pretty sad state these days. Mainstream rap that is, because I honestly dont follow the underground stuff very much and im sure theres some good stuff out there. Eminem, Ludicrous, Dre, maybe a few others are still pretty good. No talent hacks like Jarule eating up all the radio and tv waves piss the hell outta me.
