PVD @ Virgin Megastores Boston before Avalon Feb 20th

| I just got off the phone with Virgin Megastores and they informed me that the man himself will be spinnin and signing autographs at Virgin Megastores sometime before his set at Avalon BUT in order to get in to see PVD at Virgin Megastore you must buy his new DVD/CD and get a wristband. Well i know for sure that i am goin to be there cause i am on my way now over to virgin to pick up the new DVD/CD. So i just thought i would inform you guys on this little update. |

| sweet! too bad the only time i MIGHT be in boston is in the middle of august. we have a virgin too, so lets hope he comes to sac :) |

| Thats dumb. You have to buy the CD/DVD in order to get into a bloody store? If they do that, they should give everyone a free pass to go into Avalon for the show that night. I have never heard of an artist who does PR ops, charge to get to see them. Sad, Id expect something like that from Oakie, but not a man whove ive always respected like PvD |

I disagree, many artists do that. PvD is promoting his record, not attending a charity ceremony or doing a free show (like he does sometimes). If you do not agree with that requirement, you don't have to do that. I just bought Global and I wish that I had that perk. Only lamers who plan to leech this off the internet would be upset by this. Perhaps you'd like him to sign a ripped version of Global as well, while he's in Virgin megastore too?
BTW, Moby did the same thing back when 18 came out. So, what's the big deal???
