I've just been listening to this mix and talking to excee at the same time on icq about it.
So here's goes my constructive criticism:
Watch out for the beginning, compared to the rest of the track it's way louder. The first mix into "He's all I want" is pretty good, first time I've heard the track, and to quote a friend of mine, it shoulda been a dub IMO. The mix into Seven Cities is a bit of a trainwreck on the phrasing, escee mentioned it took a bit longer to spin up. The drop into Gouryella is good, but this would have to be the longest amount of time I've heard this track played in any set (8:43). Most times I've heard it played it's mixed out before the second breakdown (the breaksey sounding bit at about 23:37 in escee's mix or 5:42 into the track). I felt that it played a bit too long for someone that is familiar with the track to kinda get a bit bored (though I love this track). I haven't heard "Guide Me God" before, but it sounds a bit under EQed on the vocals. The mix into Silence is pretty good on the phrasing, but the levels are all out of wack, comparitively. Solar coaster was brought in a bit too early on the phrasing I think, but it's close, this is another one of those "heavier records" I guess. The mix in of Janiero is good. Nicely EQed, but the best mix is the mix into Ayla, I've only heard Janiero once, and I've never heard the Tandu mix of Ayla, so I had to search quite a bit to find the cue point, cause I honestly couldn't tell when it came in.
Overall a pretty nice mix of a tonne of my favourite songs, especially for a someone pretty new to the decks. It could do with some post processing of the eq's if you wanted to listen to it alot, especially around the beginning.
I cued the file while I was listening to it, and went back over it to adjust the cues exactly, so here's the cue sheet for those of you lucky enough to have a copy of mp3cue.

tracklist looks interesting. chilled. chose a few mixes uncommonly picked. from prev comments, sounds like u had trouble with gains. i'll dl tonite, n critique 2moz!
ftp's a good idea, it'd be pretty funky if auta had an ftp of their own allowing each other to upload and dl each other's mixes. |

| yeah every month ill upload someones mix as long as i can keep using this ftp and it doesnt get hammered too much, so send me a mix if you want me to put it up. So far ive got one from bedrock. |

just had a quick listen to ur mix. well, mainly just the trannies from the cue sheet. havent that much time on my hands, n familiar with most of the tunes already, so yea.
agree with most things skware says. beatmatching still needs work, but u recover without causing a great gallop which is good. eq also needs more of a work out, few transitions sounded a lil messy. notice you fade out outgoing tunes pretty quickly. dependent on style, but personally prefer longer mixes. gradual the better incoming n outgoing.
terms of tracklist, it was nice. upside down 'cos' curve vibe. only didnt agree with seven cities [woods remix], felt a lil outta place. fav transitions,
diamond back -> he's all i want
solar coaster -> janeiro [Pronti and Kalmani].
faded solar coaster out too quickly though, either that or tune finished? *shrug*
anyway, it better than what i can do. i've only been mixing for 2.5 weeks? =) but it's uncanny how much u notice n pay attention to detail once u begin mixing. i'll throw a mix soon ur way maybe, n let u abuse the out of it. =) |

| I should have added to this that my criticism is coming from someone who doesn't mix (yet ... but wants to soon), and I was being overly harsh, but overall I liked it. |
