Im playing the finally enlgish-translated versions of Squaresoft's Treasure Hunter G and Bahamut Lagoon.
Call me old school, lol! |
Treasure Hunter G is an AWESOME game although it gets EXTREMELY annoying towards the end... I played a bit of Bahamut Lagoo and it was REAL boring and kinda corny. Graphics were *INCREDIBLE* though. If you like Squaresoft translations, check out Live A Live, definitely one of the quirkiest games I've ever played. Also, they just finished the Rudra's Treasure translation... the game looks cool tho I haven't tried it yet =] |

| Tetris on the good ol' six-four. I had a 45 min goddamn marathon the other day; I think it was around 1300 lines. I'm a loser. |

Treasure Hunter G Annoying in the end, really? Why...?
Im more or less halfway on the game and its damn fun. The enemies are graddualy kicking my butt more and more, but the challenge is fun (im sick of easy RPGs... Golden Sun rocks, but its very easy even on hard mode).
Im still starting my Bahamut Lagoon to know if its boring or not... But almost all board-tactics games are boring at the very beggining, even Final Fantasy Tactics, and get better as they gets richier on abilities, and Bahamut has a extremely deep and fun dragon breeding system...
Btw, i hav LiveAlive too, pretty fun game!
Gonna look for this Rudra's Treasure! Thanx for the tip :) |

| Well, you know how before battle you have "GRID LEVEL 1" and so on? Well, the amount of times you can move is determined by this... so if you have level 1, it takes 3 bars to move on a red square, 2 for a yellow square, and so on. This is multiplied by the grid level. So, near the end of the game, enemies have Grid level's of 5 and 6. So you can only really move like 2 spaces, which make the battles needlessly long... The game's only about 18 or so hours long though... How far are you? |

Wow, level 6 grid? Scary!
I know what u r talking about...
Right now my grid is level 2, i keep on whacking enemies from afar with boomerang, magic and tossing things to avoid steping on the red squares around them.
I just entered the pyramid on the second island now. Im going slow, since im playing many rpgs at the same time... |

| Just getting back into Battlefield 1942, continuing Freelancer and occasionally enduring bouts of Unreal Tournament 2003. :o I would probably still be playing Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance if my PS2 wasn't constantly giving disc read errors. |
