Ive been away from the forums for a while... well.. this time I need a little help, I need to buy a pair of Cartridges... I have heard great things about Ortofon DJ Concordes, but they are a little expensive for me,... I found in a local Store for a descent price a pair of Stanton GROOVEMASTER II RM, but I dont know too much about cartridges, and I doesnt understand very well, those specifications.. so.. I was wondering if some of u can talk me about those Groovemaster Cartridges... what im looking is a cartridge with a good sound..... and what is very important for me that is the VINYL WEAR,.. I love my Records...and I want a good cartridge for thems.... is this Cartridge a good Idea for that??? Thanks in Advance, Carlos. I firstly get confused and posted this thread on the Production Forum. deejay2002 I know Ortofons are much more expensive than stantons and there is a reason for it. You have to experience the difference for yourself. All I could say is Ortofons sound much clear (crisp) than stantons. I also find Stanton cartridges a little bit muddy sound.
