I keep hearing SO many good things about Kai Tracid's set - he was really the only DJ I would have wanted to hear, but couldn't (they only broadcasted the main stage, and I live in Canada :( )
Is there any way possible that I can hear his set? Or were there absolutely no recordings done?

I have the set and can tell you he didn't make a SINGLE good transition at all. He didn't even beatmatch, he just faded the oudgoing track out and faded the incoming track in :whip: |
That's not to count the few time he just did hard cuts to other tracks, no mixing at all. His set alone could be considered enough to make TE a disaster, that's how bad it was, IMO. :whip: :whip:
Seriously, that was the worst mixing I've heard in a long, long time. He needs to stick to making great tracks instead of trying to mix them. |

yeh, but to be fair you have never been so the event isnt "blowing" for u, just the sets which get broadcast.
id like to take a moment and say that i dotn really care for TE etc anyway, jsut expressing a point ;) |

the only id&t event i like is innercity which is lushness,, dont forget 2001 innercity, holdens set is extreme so is marcos and mauros..
i only really look forward to love parade anyways :thepirate |

That's right! Hey, I'm not a fan of any of the djs that spun and none of them blew me away but I had fun because i've never been to such a huge 'trance' (or was it hardstyle) party. In fact, I've never been to such a big party at all because i come from a continent which doesn't really appreciate any dance music. So I was more than happy :p |

Well Ive never been to any of these events... but from the sets I think sensation 2001 was good, and so was innercity 2001. Trance energy was never really that great in my books anyways.
Sensation 2002 was ass because of the whole "Black and White" bull. What made Sensation 2000 and 2001 cool was the variety in the music played. I dont just want to hear trance or hardstyle/techno all night. |

Just heard all the sets and it was bad indeed... except for Kai of course !
I think u can't compare with Asot (never know why people love this show), because it's really soft, it's good for a listening @ home but not @ a party... |

i also want to say something about "old" tracks being spined.
guys it's at 10th edition anversary.
when joo spined signum - solar level i went mad:)
i think some of the djes realised that it was the 10th time (duh) so they prepared there set woth some good old wannes:)
i still think trance energy was great i had a great time and a lot of people had if you look at the great atmosphere.
i think its about how it sounds over there in real life and not on the radio. the event is about the everything around it such as lighting and the music and not for some guys at home with a radio,they are not paying 40 euros:) i pay for everything on that event such as atmosphere lighting and music and don't forget: a great night out.and it was worth it, i had a very great time over there.
