I know there was a thread bout this question pretaining to finding out how to put vinyls in speacific order when your getting ready to do a show, but I use cdr and i find that buy putting newer tracks that I get in the back of my book and older tracks in the front of the book, does anyone have any other styles when using cdr?

peace

I just sort them on style,I'm spinnin techno most of the times so all the discs with techno on it are in front, middle has some hardhouse and at the back theres all the trance :)

It doesn't matter that much does it? So long as:
1) You know the tracks you've got pretty well
2) You can find the track you're after pretty quickly

CD cases are a bit different to vinyl cases because your ordering can go side to side as well as front to back, so just find something that works for you ;)

Personally (when using vinyl) I keep new stuff near the front to remind me to play it a bit more than the older stuff :)

i have a case of cdrs in my record bag (stuff that isn't released yet or isn't in press anymore)
usually i just get a load of tracks, burn them, and then label the cd and slap it in the last available slot
it just naturally gets sorted by date since i just grab new stuff
but lately i've been putting an old classic here and there :)
