I think that many people are taken by their little subgenre due to exposure.
Let's take me for example:
Last year, at PvD (SF) I was all trance is awesome trance this trance that.. during the summer, the amount of trance exposure for me was close to 0. At work, all I was listening to was U60311 Compilation (Vol 1 Chris Liebing) and On the Road Mix Vol2 (Kruse) and at parties, it was mostly techno. Hence, I started to like it and am now listening to taht mostly, because i did.
At some point, i started to realize that trance just wouldn't cut it for me anymore, as i have grown to love the speed that i feel techno has, and trance doesn't.
I bet, if i was listening to a lot more trance, i would fall in love with it again, but currently i am not, hence my lack of love for that. -sorry guys-
bottom line thought:
A Closed Mind is a wonderful thing to loose!
so guys, keep that little head of yours open and you will get to enjoy more of life -hence my attendance at many trance parties and as u can read in the talla review, i was positively suprised! |
