| Sarah Mclachlan the singer from silence, is she the same sarah mclachlan who sang the beetles remake of "blackbird" on the "I Am Sam" soundtrack? cuz they have the same name but the voice seems different |

Yeh, thats her. Shes a massively popular vocalist in America and Canada. Dance is not normally her thing. Incredible voice.
Theres an album, Sarah McLachlan Remixed which has a lot of her regular stuff mixed into dance tracks, including Tiestos mix of Deleriums Silence. |

| Maybe she sounds different on the dance track because at least some of the remixes have it sped up and distorted sounding so she sounds a little hyper, and different |

I read an interview with Tiesto. He said something along the lines of Sarah not being too crazy about his remix. Once the royalties started rolling in though... |

Not at all, I have a lot of her live stuff, it really is THAT good.
Shes a high profile lesbian too, so fit or not - she aint gonna jump ya !

she's married.... just b/c she's the mastermind and also a preformer of the former Lilith Fair doesn't automatically make her a lesbian...:rolleyes:
i really doubt that she has negative opinions about lending her voice to electronica considering she did release the remix album with remixes by Tiesto, Hybrid, BT, Rabbit In The Mood & Dusted. and plus i doubt she had any say about Silence either cuz it wasnt 'her' song per say. after all she was a guest singer on delerium's album. also, i do believe that it was noted @ i:vibes that she was leaning towards dance music w/ her future album.
anyways, Sarah McLachlan is an amazing singer. i have 4 of her albums including Remixed and i absolutely love her stuff and its fantastic to be able to hear her voice in some of my fav trance tunes as well! :)
