Yeah Dieselboy sucks but he hardly exemplifies what new dnb is like. There are way too many sub-genres out there, some are more tech, some are more ragga, others are more jazzy or even latin now with Marky :D |

Andy C is without a doubt the PvD of dnb, and the highest dnb dj up there in the DJ MAG TOP 100 djs.
Bad Company ( esp. Fresh) is like the Tiesto of dnb.
Aphrodite spins jump up of the worst kind  Good jump up would be Hype and Freaky Flow.
For dark get Loxy, Friction etc.
Marky and High Contrast are the saviors of dnb in my opinion, giving it a new groove :p
There are many more I've seen live. I've actually seen live more dnb than trance djs because I come from PR, the Ibiza of dnb :stongue: |
Puerto Rico, the Ibiza of DnB?
er.... lol
Andy C is solid. AK1200 is solid. J-Majik is solid. Technical Itch is solid. 1.8.7. was solid. Decoder is solid. Goldie is solid.
Thats pretty much all you need to know.
and the day people can people can put the words "I think" before the word "sucks", is the day they're opinion will be respected. Otherwise they continue to sound like the trendy bandwagon listeners we all are aware of. |

It sure is called like that by many UK souljahs. Ask Andy C himself. ;) There aren't as many parties as in Ibiza, but all those djs you mentioned have been there like 5 times each in the last couple of years. Plus dnb is the edm of choice down there, by far. |

jungle=dnb and nowadays it's pretty much used interchangeably. Of course some will say that jungle is the old skool ragga which was originally true, but in actuality both words are used to encompass the genre that is driven by drums and bass.
Bukem spins intelligent, jazzy, progressive, ambient, whatever-you-wanna-call-it dnb. |
