Ok, im looking for decks and a mixer for less than $700. I don't want everyone to suggest saving for technics or similar high qulity decks as the budget i have specified is an absolute maximum.
I think that stanton's, citronic's and gemini's look good but have no understanding of the quality of these decks. Any suggestions? Also, suggestions for the mixer would be helpful.
Is there any kit you need to bedroom DJ? I have a 100w Amp (a channel) and speakers. Will this do? WHat type of headphones are good? Is it worth splashing out on a set of sennheiser's or sony m700's?
Where is the best place to buy this kit? I am in the UK so if im buying from abroad, the savings have to be greater than the cost of shipping.
How did you all learn to DJ? Did you just listen 2 on track in headphones and try to match the BPM to the one that was currently playing untill you could do it quickly and easily?
