View this Thread in Original format
The Highroller
ok i have heard this now from MULTIPLE sources and im starting to get scared.

can someone PLEASE slam this rumor? please GOD tell me its NOT TRUE!!

source: All Age Clubbers *

*disclaimer: i do not visit this website, but one of my friends showed me to prove it to me, and im not liking what he showed me..
The Highroller
question: how the is he supposed to preform? is he just going to sit down in the DJ booth and sing?

VIVA NOOOOOOOO!
Durafei
C'mon.. Who the hell cares what goes on at Viva as long as it doesn't interfere with regular friday Trance schedule? NOT ME !

If anything, we should be happy the place gets that kind of attention -> Viva gets more money -> We get better DJs :D
Time2Burn
Ok so where's the meet up? Whose gonna start up the roll call thread!!

TAz reprezent!!

AIGHT!
The Highroller
if they make enough money it might ruin the fri night trance nights.
bluE_Neon
could be very true man, Viva might make an all ages event just for the profit, but yea shawn desman is a fag! :stongue:
Endlesswave
HAHA! :p Well let him come. As long as they keep brining wicked talent I could care less. Nobody says anything when Guv brings in mainstream "artists" so if it brings them the $ then so be it. I was checking out the site and it says they will be playing the best of "house, trance, rnb, etc". I want to see what their definition of trance is.

I just visited ALLAGECLUBBER.Com and I wanted to make a few points since I know a bit about this whole thing because my brother goes to them.

1) Desman will perform maybe 3 songs, probably on some ghetto make shift stage or possibly one of those clear cubes.

2) Mc Slik is a pedophile, 21 yrs old and he goes after 15 yr olds, DO NOT LET YOUR LITTLE SISTERS GO.

3) All age events usually take place at a variety of different clubs and rarely stay at the same club eg. Viva, then helium, then club 108, then paparazzi, then whiskey saigon etc....

4) All age parties are usually held once a month for each "promotion crew(s), so a regular all ages night is unlikely.

5) Viva will probably make more money on a regular friday trance session and much more for something like a JOOF party simply based on admission alone. All age parties are typically $10, maybe $15.....Viva hits us up for $20 and up. Aside from that the liquor sales it makes bring the profits up far far more than any allages water only night.

6) Viva knows it runs the trance scene, abandoning it for the allages euro, freestyle scene would probably make it suffer. There's soooo many clubs in the mainstream club business that Viva, even with it's wicked system, probably can't compete with the likes of Money, Tonic, Joker, Papz, Plastique, Palazzo, Atlantis, Docks. ETC.

Fear not its a one night only thing....if it was going to be a regular event they'd advertise it as starting March 1st every saturday night will be all ages.

Finally now that Viva has found Trance as it's mainstay for its friday's, I think it is just trying to fill the void for saturdays...this is just a way of experimenting....they did it in the past if I remember....i.e a flyer from last Jan 02 that had euro, freestyle, trance and hip hop advertised.

Viva should open up saturdays for trance too. Go hed2hed with the guv.
