Well, considering we've all got vinyl on the mind (when don't we?) lets take this game into another round. What then, people, was your first piece of the black stuff, vinyl, that initiated the addiction that you now suffer from today. Just so we are all on the same level here, i'm talking 'dance' related, not Rachmanimov's piano concerto, 3rd movement, (the B side on that was better) but specifically, Trance, Techno, whatever. You know what i mean.

I guess I should start playing, since i started this:

Red & White - The United Colours E.P.

Out on Push & Pull records, an early production by our friend Armin, along with Gert Den Heijer. Sounds seriously dated today, but who cares.

Your turn...

arctic was deleted, only a few hundred copies in existence, and it'll never be released, so it's gonna be worth something soon ;)

it was prettty intimidating the first time i bought wax, which wasnt too long ago. stepping into central, a brave "clueless" soul amongst the dread-lock haired, baseball hatted djs who some, were searching through the racks, while others, nodding their heads to acompany the beats at the turn tables. i felt that intimidated i didnt even test the vinyls as i hadnt a clue how to use a turntable then. but i walked away with 2 records that day. ferry corsten -punk and orion - see me here

Is it just me or are the people who work @ central station egotistical wankers? i mean you ask them a question and you get this higher than thou awnser like their so good and your not. Just a few weeks ago i saw a person who worked their grab a few vinyls of the rack and ask a well known melbourne tech dj "which one should i buy" . talk about sucking up.

i dunno how it is in other states but in melbourne their tosses.

yeah i copped the same too. i ask them a basic question like "do you stock many trance tunes?" and the guy proceeds to give me a history of the sound of trance and how it has infiltrated/plagiarised other genres and bull.

and me the way they push their vinyls on ya, my dealer does even't apply that much pressure on me. :(

that is why i may buy more over the net from here on.
