Trance in Thailand: BKK and Samui in March ?

Hi there,
two weeks now, then we´re leaving for the islands again, with three days in BKK (near Nana).
Want to go to the Ministry again, of course.
What else do you suggest in BKK ? Gonna be Wednesday and Thursday night.
=> Samui: Full Circle was just never "full"... haven´t been to Haad Rin the last two years. Any newer useful info on Haad Rin ?
How are the Parties at Bohput ?
Would be happy for any info

Ah Haad Rin! Those where the days. Spend the last month of '99 there partying my ass off with with a group of people consisting of English, Dutch and Australians hehe.
The New Years Eve was absolutly massive :D
Hope you have agreat time mate. One usually do around those islands hehe :) |

| I really wouldn't recommend MoS if you were here. Try going to places like Lucile, Lucifer, Narcissus, Cafe DeMoc. The best place to stay while you're in Bangkok is Khaosan area...Cheap hotels and there's always food and beer around plus loads of clubs including DDM (techno), Cafe Democ(all sorts of top underground music by top local djs), Airway, Bangkok bar + Suzie bar(cheesy pop tunes) and open air bar & restaurants. a happy place i'd say. I haven't been to Phangan island so i wouldn't know what it's like...although i've heard lots of good things about it. Also wouldn't hurt to drop by to a temple?! |

@Narcissus: been to MoS BKK last year and found it quite nice, haven´t checked out the other places though.
We´re booked the Zenith again (29/117 Sukhumvit Soi 3 (Nana-Nua) 10110), been there 2 times sofar and we really like it. No KhaoSan for us, I guess. It´s my forth visit to BKK, my girlfriends 6th, so we´ve covered most of the temples and sights sofar ;)
DDM (techno) and Cafe Democ(all sorts of top underground music by top local djs) sounds good... are they open/full on weekdays, too ?

old topic, same questions:
leaving for Island-hopping again on Feb 11 - March 6, 2004
This time it´s gonna be 20.02. for the Blackmoon Party at Rockybay and hopping around Samui to catch Queen Nakadia, Geckovillage etc.
No FullMoon, that´s 06.02. and 07.03. unfortunately...
Oh, and 04.03. to 06.03. we´re staying in BKK again. Maybe I manage to get to Narcissus this time.
Any recommendations ? |

don´t know - will see in Samui :)
Her set at Voilá was apparently pretty good - and compared to the mix of music played in most venues in Samui (Green Mango...) I guess EVERYTHING is better. |
