PEACE in Chicago

Paul is a peace activist, he told me he joined in the anti war peace protests when he was in Australia right before coming over here.

wow, what an amazing night... i was blown away. it's a shame that i couldn't find you guys in the club until the end, seeing how i searched the whole night, but i guess dim lights kind of does that to you. Paul was awesome, so many classics and some new stuff too. The remix of Nothing but you (the one he played at the beginning) was amazing, the remix of "Enjoy the silence" was out of this world. I want to know who it's by. And he did play FAA which pretty much made me the happiest person in the club.

Once again, Sam, thanks for getting me the ticket, and sorry for being so late, but my friends are lame ::whip:. Chris, it was great to finally meet you, although it was only for a very short time right after the gig was done, and tom, it was nice to see you too... ass for the other TAs, well, we have to meet again, and this time i'm showing up early... I;m glad to see that the dinner was a success, let's hopefully do this more often!

is it just me, or did it seem that he also played "the spell"... cus i showed him a list of songs that I wanted him to play at the beginning of the night which included "FAA" "another way" and "the spell"...

Chris, have fun in Boston and New York... you have no clue how jealous I am right now!

Radu

EDIT: Chris, can you please post all the pics that you took lsat night? :D thanks!

there was definitely a new production that Paul played twice. I'm sure it was not Second Sun - The Spell, a song i am very intimate with (it's now on the DC Hub). If i heard the spell i would have instantaly recognized it.

but this new song, was similar to the Spell in that it had these sweet, slightly electronicized female vocals.

could this have been the new Pvd vs. Jan Jonhston - One Perfect Day?

The sublime song came on and Tom told me he heard the same tune at Columbus. Then the song came on again later on in the night when pvd played it twice.

I cannot believe FAA was played. That is how braindead i am now...

but!

OFF TO BOSTON I GO!
MORE PIX TO COME!!!

Oh my god.

What a ing night. Last night I was officially devirginized from PvD. This was by far one of the best nights Ive EVER had. The energy and the drive he had just had me.

The meet up was a great success, altho if i wouldnt have called chris i would have ended up at a diff place just right next door. I dont know how it happened but we ended up getting parking right in tranist for 9 bucks!! The line wasnt that bad and Radu no worries!! You got the ticket and you got in!!! I heard some people scalping tix for over 100 dollers! You coulda been raped by em!! lol.

Tracks i remember

Started with two i remember:

Vifrima - Cristalle (Katana's Intro Mix)
PvD - Nothing but you

(alot that I dont remember but were !)

Rapid Eye - Circa Forever

Marco V - (Cant think right now but i believe he re-edited it)

Solid Sleep - Club Attack

PvD - Another Way

And ending it with Nothing but you.

Thanks everyone for our midwest turnout, I am gunna attempt to hit up my Ordinary and Differential equations class right now...
Will see how that goes. Will be a whore and post more later!!

BTW anyone have webspace i can use to post my pictures of the night??
I have some really good ones of PvD and the crew!
