The most remixed track ever?? (pg. 10)

Some releases are country specific = they're not released everywhere. And do you honestly think that I have time to do all that?

Sheesh. Search for them on DC++ or something.

Just because they're on DC++ doesn't mean they're official. No chance there are 30 mixes of it.

Alot of remixes that aren't even listed on Discogs, like the (Wasp Remix) for example. Also, 20+ mash-ups.

You listed so many duplicates that it's hardly worth sifting through. Edits of a mix don't count as a new mix, neither do multiple album versions, etc.
Ory
There were several edits of Cafe del Mar posted, too.
Ory
Yeah, I just counted, both tracks are pretty even in amount of remixes (offical ones). Keep in mind that Satisfaction is from 2003, Cafe del Mar is from 1997.

I might look for more unofficial ones tomorrow, dunno what the point is in doing it though.

I counted 17 mixes of Satisfaction from your list, Cafe Del Mar has around 20. Plus I have no idea how many of those 17 are not official mixes as you didn't provide info on them. But anyway, it's a bit silly that you said it has "over 50" remixes when it clearly has nothing close to it. Let's be reasonable here.

And Cafe Del Mar is from 1993, not 1997.
Ory
All of the remixes I listed are official (released). However originally, I was talking about total amount of remixes; that includes mash-ups and not released ones. I could go on forever listing them.
Ory
Yeah, it's from 1993. That's 10 years before Satisfaction was released. Kinda lame that a 11 year old track doesn't have over 20 remixes. It shouldn't be in this "competition" in the first place.

Fair enough, but total amount of remixes is really not a worthwhile statistic. For example, Depeche Mode - I Feel Loved has 344 remixes. Take that as you will.

I checked, and it's actually 22 remixes. But the exact figure is unimportant. Why should it not be in this "competition"? There are simply no trance tracks with a greater number of professional, released remixes.

HAHA! How can it be lame? Tracks don't have any certain number of remixes they should get within that time. And it's stupid anyway if every freakin producer would have remixed it, it already has way too many remixes IMO. And the total number of remixes is now 25, if the real 1991 original (never released tho) and 2004 remixes by Neo & Barbwire and Kenny Hayes are included. I once had around 130 amateur remixes but none of them weren't worth posting because they haven't got a release, not even on whitelabel.
