He can definitely play but it's way too early to tell. With all the media hype he's getting, it seems like he will be the next Michael Jordan. That's a ton of pressure put on the kid...just imagine if he dissapoints.

Lebron is starting off with better tools than kobe had (he's stronger, more athletic, better court vision), but whether he can handle the pressure and the rigors remains to be seen...

In his first year, not a chance. But if he works hard then theres a chance. The biggest thing he has going against him, is that he'll probably end up in the disfunctional cavs.

What are you talking about?
The worst thing is if he ends up in some media circus like New York (please David Stern, don't rig the lottery like we know you will) but he has handled a lot of the controversy (the Hummer dispute, the throwback controversy, etc.) in stride so that may not be so bad.
Cleveland actually would be a great place for him to play for the following reasons:
1) Don't tell me Gund Arena won't be packed every night to de Central Ohio's golden child. He's there's and they'd give anything to see him in Clevland.
2) A crappy team is his best opportunity to but up great stats.
3) He gets a chance to play with the other most exciting (though not the best) player in Ricky Davis. Those two would combine for mad highlights which basketball nuts like me would enjoy. |

only if he can equalize Kobe's competitive drive, which is Jordanesque. I will say this, no single player has come into the NBA with as much hype as Lebron will; the media really is a circus!
