Fatboy
Eh, could u give some more specific tunes. I think i could understand where you're going, i just need some tunes to compare...

UB Devoid
hm...
Sander Klienenberg - Slipper Sleaze, Venus & Mars
Way out West - Activity, Shark Hunt, Call Me
Cass & Slide - Diablo(Evolution Mix)
Conjure One - Redemption(Max Graham remix) ***at 6:33, those are lots of fifths in succession***

If you know what a power chord is on a guitar, that's a fifth.
Fatboy
Ok, so u mean powerchords like the ones on a guitar. I played a lot of guitar up to a year ago. So u basically mean synths playing a powerchord?
breakdown
hmm i think i know wut u are talkin about...

Way Out West - UB Devoid

sK has lotsa tracks like that ..
and ummm.. who else.. ahhh i can't think of any actually
patticus
i know what you're talking about

but not these specific tracks

i ttry to find them

james holden ( horizons ) progresses downward in thirds, using minor and power chords

but everyone uses these "power chords"

BIG EXAMPLE::P:: agnelli & nelson - embrace.
a major => d major

and back.
breakdown
hmmmm i can't see how James HOlden is tho..
a lot of Way Out west stuff is.. but james holden? hmmmmmmm i dunno

patticus
well im not too sure if y'all just talking about power chords being 1-3-5 major chords.

like in embrace its just blatant

but yeah i dunno aobut holden, everyone kinda uses those
breakdown
surely almost every tracks have that lil kick?
