After all the b.s. that has been happening in clubs in NYC as well as RI and Chi, anyone else concerned about Roxy 2nite???? I'm not usually paranoid but with the number of ppl in roxy reaching in above 5K numbers, any other ppl at least a bit concerned about tonight?

i feel the same way. chances are nothing serious is gonna happen though. theres usually a lot of security, but now theres probably gonna be a lot more.

IM NOT SCARED AT ALL!

in fact, the only reason went down in RI is cause a cheese 80's metal band was there lighting the place up with flamethrowers for Pyrotechnics. But if Pvd Comes on with a flamethrower, that would kick so much ass!

I personally didn't bother going because we are a week away from war, then something happened at a night club last night. Along side that the last thing I need to be is painting a bulls eye on myself and become apart of what happened in Australia or could happen (for the pessimist). People obviously didn’t think twice aside from being on "High alert" then the other "suspicious" explosions earlier in the day, on top of R.I. Thursday night (!) I'm not sure who wouldn't think that the cops wouldn't be craking down on the biggest party of the night.

Ps. I just read what the night was like with the police and crap everyone. Well sucks for you guys who purchased the tickets. I’m glad I didn't go. It just wasn't the time or place for this. Congrats to the few who made it in and enjoyed(!?) the night.

Pss. I think it was a good thing the prescence of law was there who knows what would of happeend if they weren't.

speaking of war, when I was at the Boston AValon for PVD I could have sworn I saw a terrorist in the crowd everytime the white lights flashed I saw his face. It was scary.

I was actually so stressed out by 11pm that I had to take some valium to calm down... on top of everything my stomach was killing me too... All the way to NYC I wanted to turn around and go home... and probably would have if I didn't have 2 other ppl in the car with me and I didn't want to up their night. Anyway, when I saw the line at the club it was the biggest ing line I ever saw... Must have been about 3,000 people.... It stretched 3/4 of a block like this:

and the block is a solid 200Meters (about 210yards)... So I'd say the line was about 1/2mile long..... and that's not a single file line, that's like sometimes 4-8 people in a row....

Anyway... sucked that some ppl didn't get in - that's unheard of, especially with tix... but amazingly enough, once inside I felt relaxed and actually had the greatest night of my life! the club was packed but definitely had room to dance and move around, which was cool... I was actually surprised because I saw so many ppl outside and still there was room to move...

Anyway.

I am glad my worries were nothing more than just some paranoia/anxiety and all is well.
