reason vs fruityloops

Is one better than the other? I have both and I really can't tell which is better. Both seem to have their pros and cons - for instance fruityloops can't automate in playlist mode which is really stupid cos u have to make variating pattern lengths depending on what you are automating and for how long you want it to automate, and reason doesn't have something as simple as an arpeggiator.
Just want to see what some other producers who use either of these tools think.
I guess what it really comes down to for quality is to stick with hardware components. There are a few vsts that I use that come pretty close to the real deal, but nothing matches hdware yet.

I don't think either one of them is better than another.
I use Reason myself but I have heard some amazing work made entirely with Fruity Loops...
It all comes down to personal preference, really... if you're talented then it doesn't really matter what you use. :) |

HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT,
TECHNO ejay two hundred and fifty eight is MUCH better, there are MORE pre made melodies and loops for you to male your OWN song with than ever before. |

exactly :rolleyes:
someone should go through this entire forums and count the amount of times this question has been asked. Only 2 weeks ago there were around 3 of them on the first page, one in the dj booth, and another in the song and dj promotions forum.
