wells this link has been going around for a while now .. so i just figured that i'd post it here too ..
ever wonder about that POS prof. who doesn't know CRAP makes .. ?

Hm, for some reason very few of my professors are even on that list. :conf:
One or two though... six figure salaries... though when you think about it, especially in an engineering faculty, they would have to pay them that much otherwise there'd be no incentive for those profs to come to a university (as opposed to being in industry).
So, doesn't bother me really. When I have crappy profs I just don't go to any of their classes. :p
Edit: Medicine profs make INSANE money! I think I saw some close to $300k! |

| ya why wouldnt they have 6 figure salaries? I think if anybody should it would be professors. Consider yourselves lucky people. They make a LOT more money than that in the States. Thats the problem right now, the reason we have a faculty shortage. Canadian profs earn far less than they do in many developed countries |

Well, I think profs are NOT paid enough. First of all that list only includes those profs who make over 100K.. But that's what? 5-10% of all profs?
Most professors are pretty smart, and those who are in Math, could probably make 10 times as much on Wall Street etc. That's why there is shortage of good professors. |
