Yes yes we know. It's all by ear, how it should be. |

i think ur better off selling it on ebay if it's in mint condition...

For beginners? Ha! Good one...
That is the last thing you want to do, start off practicing on a mixer with beat counter... |

Ummmmmmmm well the way I look at it technically a beat counter CAN be decent for beginners because it gets the idea of how to count beats inside a person's head. By doing this the person can distinguish the differences in the two tracks/beats etc. (As long as they DON'T rely on it constantly then it's fine). I mean if it becomes a crutch then it's useless. |

| Great great mixer, i've got one and love it (and I never use the bpm counter). $1000 is not to much to pay for such a great piece of equipment. |

Yeah, it's a great feature to have once you want to concentrate on more than just beatmatching all the time...
And it's great for beginners too, as long as they stay away from the BPM counter. Why? Once you start using it, it'll be hard to give it up and learn the proper beatmatching technique (by ear), and that's no good... I know, I know, you'll say that you don't have to use that feature, but I know half of the people that get a mixer with BPM counter on it just to start off will cheat, and use that feature. |

lol...it doesn't matter if it's studio usage or not...there is no way a mixer is in mint condition after 2 years |
