what is it with you guys? do you automatically hate DJs when they become really popular or what? tiesto isnt perfect but he probably deserves top spot at the moment.

btw, i think Southern Sun is cool, but i dont know about tune of the year. i liked Ligaya, but that was just Ferry, wasnt it? anyhow, other than the gouryella projects, my favorite tiesto track is probably Lethal Industry - just too damn catchy. :D

ill say hes #1 now but ill also dare to say that Armin van Buuren is going for that top spot.

Tiesto is great, I want to see where he goes this year, cause now that hes the top dj in the world, hes going to have to do some representitive stuff to stay on top =]

Also, I think Venus is a good tune. (Cor's Outstanding mix) is also quite good. it will definitely be one of the top tracks of the year, but i think Tiesto will have to do more to stay #1

(just my two cents....)

DJ Cor Fijneman - Venus. OMG I just heard the Tiesto Mix promo and oh this is going to be HUGE, strong candidate for tune of the year. Correct me if I'm wrong but this would make 4 years in a row of Tiesto's works as tunes of the year, right?. :eyespop: ;)

2000 Delirium - Silence (DJ Tiesto Remix)
2001 DJ Tiesto - Suburban Train
2002 Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (DJ Tiesto remix)
2003 DJ Cor Fijneman - Venus (DJ Tiesto Remix)

southern sun was noway tune of the year last year, and tiesto shudnt get any credit for urban train since kid vicious produced it and i dont see anything special about Venus (Tiesto Mix)... I guess u could argue that Silence was tune of the year, but imo there were a few better tracks.
Biohazard
Every Ywar tiesto makes a great vocal remix

2000 Delirium - Silence (DJ Tiesto Remix)
2001 Jan Johnson - Flesh (DJ Tiesto Mix)
2002 Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (DJ Tiesto remix)

wow..what am i not surprised as soon as i read the thread title and that it includes tiesto and #1 in it i would have bet anything that so much people will bitch and moan about tiesto and not even with any good criticism..some of u need to get off the tiesto is wagon..it is not cool anymore kids...tiesto has been great lately..with productions and sets..few examples..roc project-never(DJ tiesto mix),Junkie xl-breezer(tiesto mix),his mix of tears from the moon, venus and die another day are also awesome...his sets like global dj broadcast has been very good with solid mixing..so give him credit will ya..name me one dj with great mixes in such a short time...and the tunes that were mentioned above they were one of the best of thier years..i remember this time last year when people were jumpin off there panties tryin to id southern sun when he played in his dutch dimension set..some of u people are such hypocrates it is amazing..oh well..
