| hrmmz .. wells the main page of TA indicates that he's spinning at Lotus on March 21st. Is this a reschedule because of the first mishap? If anyone has more info on it pls. share, thanks .. |

| This guy is always ing up his gigs. He was supose to be in Toronto 3 times in the past year and cancelled on 2 of them. Wicked DJ but Im not supporting this let down DJ. I'll listen to his CD's (don't get me wrong as I love his music)but I am not gonna pay and support him. And Where/What/Who the hell is Lotus???? |

oh all this is absolutely legit..both swamper and the promotion company bringing him in have told me about him coming on the 21st.....
this time hoever im gonna call the promoter befoer i leave home to see if hes arrived or not

And no sneakers/runners... It's not like the Guv at all. At the Guv you can wear hats, jeans, and runners. |

and oh yea this party is listed on
www.balancepromote.com (his booking agency) so im thinking that barring some unforseen incident he'll be in Toronto that night...! That being said im still very skeptical of this, because as some of you have already mentioned he's already bailed on TO twice. |

WTF do you keep talking about Gatwick... are you obsessed with this airport. In case you didn't know there is ANOTHER airport in London called "Heathrow" and if theres problems at Gatwick then you go to the other one. Duuuhhhh. Of course you obviously believe Seaman was flying out of Gatwick for some apparent reason. Perhaps because you are his personal manager and you book his flights for him. Or perhaps you were supposed to pick Seamen up from the YYZ and he said he was flying BA via Gatwick and called you on your cell phone to tell you this.
In fact maybe you are Seamen and this is your waying of telling us your issues with Visas and Gatwick.

Well, first of all, Lotus does have a website --> http://www.lotusniteclub.com
Second of all, what da do guys at Release Records have to do with anything? And how would they even know anything about this event/club just beats me...
Third of all, since the event is listed on the Balance calendar, it is most likely to happen, and I believe the promoters are just trying to bring Seaman again to make up for that last time (whatever the problem was, it wasn't his first time).
And the last thing, bro, you need to relax a bit... |

I'm with Aries on this one.
Lotus sounds like it's run by a bunch of kids...
On their site they state that on Fridays, resident Mark Oliver spins there. On Mark Oliver's site, it says he holds residency at The Mint (Money Nightclub) on fridays. I dont see anything on his site about lotus...what did Lotus do to deserve Mark Oliver over other more established clubs in Toronto?
I dont see anywhere on Lotus' site or anywhere else about this event. No flyers (being able to afford Seaman but not flyers is a bit suspicious) have been handed out anywhere about this either.
I think Lotus is just pulling your chain on this to get their club any sort of publicity. |
