Don't you have the ripped to video file version Helen?

If I'm not mistaken SBS and ABC has a tape recording service upon request for the past programmes. Viewers can contact SBS and ask for the programme that was aired earlier and the ppl there makes a copy for ya for a fee.......

I can send you that on CD if you want. 355mb, 1:05min. It's in German, hence why it might have been on SBS.

It would be nice to watch if with subtitles though :)

ok i got some more info, it was def on TV

it was called "Paul van Dyk: God is a DJ "

i dont know if this was the German Arte one

but here is the blurb for the SBS one:

"Paul van Dyk - "God is a DJ?"
"People have very different reactions to my work. Some say it's very
happy, energetic and
positive. Others say it's very sad, but full of hope. That's the great
thing about electronic
music - it provides a soundtrack for emotions. You're giving people
something they have to
get involved with." Paul van Dyk is one of the world's most successful
makers of electronic
music. At the 1999 Music Awards in London he was voted best
international DJ. Born in the
eastern German state of Brandenburg, he's now worshipped like a god in
Britain, admired in
America and loved by loyal fans in Germany. A DJ and music producer, van
Dyk is a star for
a generation whose idols can also be remixers. Berlin filmmakers
Thorsten Klauschke and
Peter Scholl spent two months accompanying Paul van Dyk in Germany, the
U.S., England
and France, observing his work and his encounters with other
international artists. "
