Loved his set that night!!! :eyes:

I didnt go that night, although Pheonix is five seconds from my apartment.

I think it's me and prog, but I just can't get in to his stuff. I really think that's a function of me not liking prog altogether though.

Ummmmmmmm about not liking prog I never used to either. I fell into the usual way of thinking about it, i.e. it was all boring/nothing interesting going on, where's the emotion? But after listening to a few good banging/grooving prog sets/tunes. There is some REALLY good prog out there.

Funny, I was actually talking to this guy when I was out record shopping yesterday...the guy who worked there and I were discussing our general disinterest in prog and some other guy shopping made the same comments that you did.

I agree there is some good prog stuff out there, but when it comes to me going out for an evening, I can't stand most of it and don't enjoy myself listening to it for an entire night.

Max Graham is good, heard his stuff but haven't seen him spin live, but I met him after the AXE party in the Guv last year after Sander K set ended, he dropped in...nice to talk to...

Skipper, you don't like prog? Who gives a . This is a Max Graham thread. Do you see me walk into a Ferry Corsten thread and wank on about how I'm not sure if I like trance.

I'm really starting to hate this board. Minus 10 actual friends from this board, its turned into a high school free for all.

Yes, it's a Max Graham thread.

If I don't like Max Graham - who is prog, if you hadnt heard him lately - then I'm going to say that.

I'm not crapping on Max Graham as a DJ at all - I know he plays damn good progressive. He's a very technically on-spot DJ. If you had read my posts, you would see that I actually DID say I liked some prog.

Pardon me if I thought this thread could turn in to an intelligent discussion about progressive. I realize now, with people who post insightful comments like yours, it could never be such. That's unfortunate.

It happened to me the exact same way.

You saying "you can't get into his stuff" doesn't make for intelligent conversation.

The point is, every thread turns into a prog vs. trance argument, and it's really getting annoying. Do a search, there are many insightful debates.

You basically telling me to shut the up doesnt make for intelligent coversation, does it?

I'm not looking for a prog vs. trance argument.

And I'm not interested in reading old threads. If I wanted to do that, I never would have registered, I would have just lurked and read without posting.
