Whatsup everyone...
I am very interested in producing, I have been djing about 3 years, and it's time for me to expand. I am saving up and getting a midi controller, then I'm going to keep saving up and expand my horizons.
Question is, are there any good magazines for staying ontop of the times? Like info bout what producer has released the sounds from his songs, or helpful tricks in reason, etc. I know tons of magazines out there manage to fill all their pages with adds and articles saying why you need to buy this and that.. I'm interested in a quality read, screw the capitalist adds :gsmile:
so... any suggestions?

i just happen to know a production magazine thats starting online soon.
should be good.
cant give any info out yet.
but ill be writing articles for it.
once its officialy open

You might check out Future Music or Computer Music both from Future Publishing.
Both have good quality news, reviews and articles (many of which end up online - check the links above). I've personally been a subscriber of Future Music for a few years now, and have found lots of useful information in there. |

Yes I agree, and the demo disks have some useful free stuff to help you get started. |
