Yea yea, I realize that Mr Rogers has been the butt of many jokes in the past but honestly, this man was part of our childhood for many of us and hes done so much for little kids positively. . . .something that michael jackson is struggling to do.

RIP

I saw that this morning and I was truly saddened. Mr. Rogers was a part of my youth, and I remember sitting in front of the TV everyday watching him change his shoes and put on his sweater. I met him one time and he truly was a sincerely nice man. He will be missed.

Although it must sound really weird for most of you, I used to watch Mr. Rogers when I was a little kid. My parents recorded some tapes for me when they were in the US (for 6 months) and I used to love it...

He was always a symbol of innocence and eternal youth for me whenever I thought of him.
He will be missed, but forever etched in my heart...

I always thought Mr. Rogers Neighborhood was the gayest show --even when I was a kid. Mr. Dressup was much cooler
