Ugh I hate politics... I really do.... but here goes:
1. I am definitely 100% supportive of war in Iraq - Saddam must go.
2. Tatu have nice tatas. Their t-shirst should say XYù HAM B POT
3. Europe does not support war in Iraq because Iraq is one of main suppliers of oil to europe. If US controls Iraq, US controls Europe. So it is not about europeans liking Iraq or Saddam or being peace-loving creatures. They could give two s about them. You think France or Germany gives a about Saddam or Iraqi people? Hell no. But, what they know is that because of sanctions, Iraq has bunch of embargo against them which puts Iraq in a tough bargaining position. So, oil could be bought cheaper. With US "invading" Iraq, it would not only lift embargo and create a higher competitive field but also would cut into Oil company's profits.
4. Neither Russia, Germany, or France are Jewish-friendly countries. They could care even less about the fact that Iraq wants to destroy Israel. As a matter of fact, these very countries are supplying Iraq with weapons, which then channel down to Palestinian terrorists, Hamas, Al queda and others - so Iraq is one of major sponsors of terror in the Middle east. So, from those countrie's perspective - they kill two birds with one stone 1)Great market for supermarked up weapons 2)Weapons that will be used to wipe out Jews.
Speaking of standing up, America is one of few countries that has the balls to stand up for Israel. If it was not for American support, Europe or even Eurasia would now be speaking German and Middle East would be all Arabic.
So, I am taking a stand: all of you who think that war is about Bush or Oil. It is about saving American and Israeli lives, it is about killing rabbid-dog Saddam husein and putting an end to Middle east violence. See what happens when Iraq falls and becomes a democratic country (of course, it's a pipe dream) but none theless, with America located within striking distance of Syria, Iran, Lebanon, Egypt, and Sudan - let's see how long the terrorism in Middle east will continue.
I think this war is the greatest thing this country could do for the rest of the planet, and the rest of smelly, hairy, debile hippy drones who think that WAR IS BAAAAAD should all go to Iraq and show some balls - stand up for what you believe in, become the HUMAN SHIELD! be sure to wear a T-shirt with Bullseye on it, it would be a great service for our military - makes targets easier to hit. Besides, that's how America will know where the enemy is, since Saddam is notorious for placing his army in populated area. ing coward. Anyway, if you don't like what I said, read some info here

| the statement " war" is a bull blanket statement. War is neccessary some times. Just as violence, peace, and intervention are also required some times. It would sound much less ignorant for a iraq war or something because those little russian bitches would be saying achthung and sticking their arms out straight in from of them if it werent for war. plus, this isnt advertising, seeing little catchy phrases doesnt stick in someones mind (especially wearing russian shirts in america...?) so i dont quite udnerstand what they were trying to accomplish other than to piss people off, which makes more violence...they added their little bit of fuel to the fire with that statement i believe. Now i want the war even more just to rub it in their faces |

As resident pacifist, i feel i need to speak up. I agree that Saddamn Hussein is a tyrant. I agree that America has done many good things for the world. I also agree that france, germany and russia are not showing opposition simply out of altruism, but rather because they stand to gain.
I disagree that the US should attack iraq unilaterally. The people of Iraq have suffered enough, an attack would be a humanitarian disaster as well as undermine the UN. If the UN passes another resolution specifically authorizing war, then an attack would be warranted.
but for now, saddamn hussein is contained and that has not happened. he is even destroying over 100 short range missiles this weekend. I see no reason why it should happen.
as for a solution to the problem, i believe that continued monitoring, disarmament and sanctions keep saddamn contained. i ask this, has he done anything so far? what makes america think he will now? I belive the sanctions should even be lifted, over half a million iraqi children have died in the last 10 years under those sanctions. to put it in perspective that's over 166 september 11ths, virtually ALL innocent children who had no say in the way saddamn runs his country, or sanctions get imposed.

hmm.. last time i checked the UN was comprised of countries all over the world, not just the western hemisphere. and out of the 5 veto wielding countries (France, China, Russia, Germany, USA), only the US is in the western hemisphere.
in fact, the only thing KEEPING the us from it's empirical goals is the UN right now.

maybe for the US, the worlds largest holder of arms. but for iraq, this is a sizable chunk of their artillery. It's a very significant move on the iraqis part

i didnt say western hemisphere. the division of the west from the east is philosophy. Western culture is pretty much all that sprang from greco roman thought thus all of europe and US. read more carefully ;)
-The US is an empire, there isnt much debate on that.
-100 missiles is not substantial. and there are many ways to deliver chemicals.
-Who is more likely to randomly start creating human rights issues with their weapons? Sadam already did with the Kurds and his own people. and russia got a lot of for using that stuff.
