These new tables looked quite impressive. What are your thoughts about this new model, and how do you think they will stack up against technics?

I had made a post in the other thread that was linked too above, but that was before I was the owner of a TTX1, which now I am. After several months of using it, I am very happy with it. The looks are great, the sound is good, the sturdiness is awesome and every part of it feels solid. The price has gone down considerably since it first came out, http://www.pssl.com/bitemdetail.tpl...002111612043117 Now you can get it for $399, which makes them a very good buy if you have the cash. Also you can now get a Pioneer DJM-600 for $1099 here .

What a lot of people don't know about these turntables is that due to the fact that their link ups are digital, There is a feature on the Numark which allows you to change the speed of the record WITHOUT changing the pitch? Don't believe me? Read the reviews on the site. The other amazing things are that you can change how fast or slow the startup is, and that you can change the max pitch adjusts from +/- 10% up to +/- 50%! The most amazing thing to me is the fact it can change speeds without pitch. Basically, you would never have to worry about disharmonic mix (Songs that don't match in key) ever again? That sounds a little cheap to me though.

i have stanton str8-100s and they have the pitch fix option as well. Granted, they are cheaper than the ttx's, but as far as i know, the sound quality sounds fuxed. For example, the bass line isnt prominant anymore. Maybe this isnt so on the ttx. . . .
