Why is NU NRG called NU NRG when their music is not really NRG???

Isn't nu nrg or nrg that genre similar to UK hard house but with hoovers that sound really stupid?

Why are the Italian Vandit guys named after that genre? Anyone know?

They used to be called New Energy so its just a shortend version of that and has nothing to do with the style of music you are thinking about. :D

Hey I love Nu NRG. Just wanted to know if there was any connection at all. Granted that they do high energy trance, but it's still not NRG.

Right. The thing is that nu-nrg/nrg has been a genre of its own since way before the Vandit Nu Nrg came along. So i was just wondering....
