Do you know Steve Reich? Have you ever heard his "Music for 18 musicians" CD?
I read somewhere that Sasha loves this album, he listened it when he was working on his tracks in the studio. So I decided to try it & I have to admit that the CD is amazing. 67 mins of pure chillin music which is a combination of piano, vibraphone, marimba, xylophone, clarinets, violin, cello. Its a kind of music that Pete Namlook makes.
I also have the track called "Piano phase" which is just as good.
What do you think?

Ah Steve Reich, one of the pioneers of minimalism. Such a genius. I love the 18 musicians piece, and all of his works as well. People don't realize how influential this music has been to electronic dance music. These guys built the foundations and philosophy of what trance is today.

I wrote a long-ass essay about how minimalists such as Reich have influenced trance. It's somewhere on these forums...
