Hey since a few curious non-elitists were asking about DnB I thought I'd post a few of my faves in hope that I can drag a few more victims into the genre. :)
Some of the tracks might be a little oldsk00l but you know what, true talent is timeless so pipe down with the nUsk00l comments! IMHO '99 was one of the best years of DnB.
Anyway, these tracks are different from most of the DnB out there... which is why they're my favourites:

If you can't find one, ask. :) This isn't really the most common type of DnB at parties, but, it's what got me into D&B.

Regarding the muzuk, 99-2000 were the classic years for Jungle/DnB. Insanley DARK and EVIL !!!

Those are the one I can remember for now ...
As for the parties ... even though they were insanely big, they were horrible and crapp.
Present time, this is the best year of this genre. Muzuk is still dark, but there are a lot of other genres coming in, such as house,trance,progressive,techno,two step and rock. It brings in the down to earth melodies into the tracks. *LOL the R&B phase is crapp and I hate it so much !!!* The UK junglist are bitching about this to the MAX !!! LMAO
The vibe and NRG at parties now are just as good as the golden yrs of trance (the days when Stinkenfold was at his prime)
I'm not trying to convert ppl here, nor am I leaving my roots. |
