Burning with DATA + Audio onto 1 CDR!

hi

like to burn a CDR containing both "DATA" and "Audio"

i did it and it works both data+audio with neuro burn.
but
i would like the first track (track 01), to be invisable to my CD player, so when i insert the CDR into a CD play it will only show/play
audio tracks, and not the data track.

how do i burn a CD like this?

i seen commerical CDs do this but
how can it be done at home with CDR?

thanx

Probably by fidling with the options in nero :)

it's called a mixed-mode cd... and usually the data track is the last track on the cd, thereby solving the problem of your cd player having to slip track 1. I wish I could be of more help but it really depends on your software, and there are millions of versions of nero

I always thought that there had to be a data track somewhere, i havnt got time to try this myself , but you could try making a multi session cd, buringin the audio tracks on the first session and buring the data on the second session

No need for a multisession CD.

Just use Nero --> cancel the wizard --> go to file --> new --> now you can choose if you want to burn a data, audio, or mixed mode cd (there are more possibilties, like vcd, svcd etc)

Next you only have to drag the audio files to the audio area and the data to the data area :D

Sounds simple doesn't it!

I'm using Nero 5.5.5.1 but it shouldn't be much different in other versions.

I don't like the mix-mode CD thing, it never really worked out for me. What I always do, is burn the song first without closing the session or the CD (make sure "Finalize CD (no more writing possible)" is unchecked. U can see this when u hit File>compilation info> burn. After the audio is done, burn the data. I've done it this way in the past and it has always worked.
If u got any more questions, PM me.

Easy CD Creator 5 has a feature called "Enhanced CD". when u record a cd like that your audio player will only see the music files and your operating system - the data files

haven't tried that in nero
