booho 5000 families but less than 3000 casulties? okay there. What about the 1000's of innocent people killed in Afgan by Americans? the numbers are huge i just never checked them. Why u people back America? that country is ed. Keep in mind that America bombed so-ing many countries. Afganista, Yugo, Iraq, Pakistan, Cuba. the list is huge i just dont wanna spend my time on this no more. If hating usa gov. makes me a terrorist than I am, i have great reasons behind it though. I don't hate usa. I hate it's Guv. And honestly I think it's citizens are a little 2 much brainwashed by the media 24/7, everything they see on TV they beleive. WTF, America freed the Afghan people of harsh leadership such as the taliban. Do you know how the taliban ran its country? Very poorly, women are treated like dirt for example.
In clearing the taliban (a war) of course civilians will die, no war has ONLY military deaths. You are the one brainwashed by the media cuz everytime an innocent person dies they make a huge anti-american media announcement about it. You know often countries trick the US by forcing civilans into crossfires, etc, to fuel the anti-american media war.
If america/canada wasn't around, do u realize the state the world would be in today? Either Hitler would still be killing Jews, Iraq would have taken over all of the middle east, etc..... you don't know man

You're right that we as North Americans or "westerners" have it VERY good. We are the beneficiaries of this global cpitalist "regiem". However the thing about capitalism is that it relies on reaping the benefits of under developed nation.
Take for example:
At the end of the second world war many countries were left with a "choice" of how to organize their governmental systems. 2 countries, China and India chose to take different ideological routes. India created a "demorcratic" neo liberal system (ie capitalism). China however, went "communist" closed it boarders to outside influence and developed their nation from within.
60 years later it is easy to see who has made greater change. China has well developed infrastructure and are ready to emerge as a MAJOR player in the world economic and political scene. India? Still a 3rd world nation. Ravaged by poverty and famine and totally relaint on 1st world assistance.
Wars in the modern age are wars of IDEOLOGY. Its about challenging systems that chose not to conform to the western way of doing things. Cloaked in the name of democracy and human rights. But in the end it is ALWAYS about making more money!

Well, to me it seems like you know THE ... and I mean !
First of all, if you actually knew anything about Hitler, you'd agree with me that he was one of the smartest man on the planet (he was just too greedy, took on the Russians, couldn't handle them and lost), but I still wonder what it would've been if he actually won and got to do whatever he had in mind... We all might have been living in a perfect world right now, and we would all have blue eyes & blonde hair (sweet!).
Second thing... what a do you know about Iraq anyway? I'd rather see Iraq take over a couple of countries than USA! Why, you might ask? Simply because Iraq was (before the Gulf War and before US messed it up) one of the best countries to live in, every citizen had a guaranteed job, decent pay & a place to live. , even my dad used to go to Iraq in the 80's to work there, and he was just amazed how actually people lived there! Now, I'd rather see them expand that standard of living on other countries, than see US take over them, use them up, and throw them away... |

| yep very true... even during the war against Iran, the civilian didn't miss anything. Best universities, hospitals, infrastructure in the arab world. People saying that Saddam is starving hiw own people don't know . Also with one Dinar you could buy 2 or 3 US dollars. Now it takes thousands of Dinars to buy one US dollar. Iraq was rich and still is if they remove the sanctions against it. |

lol... Afghanistan was in ruin, that's why. Taliban is an organization funding terrorists and didn't even win any elections to become the leaders of the country, why do you think there were rebelious groups helping america fight off the taliban?
